Cade Wedel

I grew up in a Military household and have lived in places from San Diego all the way to Washington, D.C. My father (Commander Wedel) served in the United States Navy for 22 years and has been a monumental inspiration for me. I grew up playing baseball and football throughout high school and one day decided I knew exactly what I wanted to do and have continued to have the same desire since the beginning of ROTC at the University of Kansas. My mom further encouraged me by being the glue of our family. Her sacrifices motivate me to be the same kind of strong, loving, and selfless for my family. Overall, I have been blessed to receive the life I have with my family, and they are why I want to pursue a career with more purpose than anything else I could think of.
