Laken Robinson

I am currently pursuing a degree in medicine at the University of Kansas with the ultimate goal of specializing in cardiothoracic surgery. I am committed to upholding my role in advancing the medical field through continuous learning and providing exceptional care to my future patients. While in school, I plan to volunteer at the JayDoc Clinic to help those in need while gaining valuable experience. 

My father, David Robinson, served in the Army and was stationed in Bad Herseld, Germany where he worked in a border unit along the East/West German border. I am incredibly proud of his dedicated service and the sacrifices he made to protect our country. Despite the challenges he has faced, he has always remained strong and determined, setting a prime example for me and others around him. His bravery and resilience are qualities that I deeply admire and strive to emulate in my own life.
