Jaeyla Steed

Jaeyla Steed is a freshman majoring in Journalism and Mass Communications with a concentration in Digital Media Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations. Originally from Yukon, Oklahoma, a community just outside Oklahoma City, she brings a strong passion for communication, relationship building, and community engagement to her academic and professional pursuits.

Outside of the classroom, Jaeyla enjoys connecting with friends and sorority sisters, exploring the Lawrence area, shopping, and discovering new restaurants. She is an avid Oklahoma City Thunder fan and values spending time with her hometown friends when she returns home. Jaeyla is passionate about helping others, fostering meaningful connections, and making a positive impact in her community. Her enthusiasm for building relationships and serving others reflects her commitment to personal growth and professional success.
