Biography —

Hello KU! My name is Garrett Aesoph, and I am from Sioux City, Iowa. I am excited to be enrolled in the Structural Design graduate certificate program. I graduated from Iowa State University in December 2023 with a Civil Engineering degree. After graduation, I moved down to Kansas City and am now working as a structural engineer associate in Overland Park at Van Deurzen and Associates. I am also a member of the Iowa Air National Guard, where I am a Civil Engineer. I enjoy being outside, boating, and playing sports in my free time.
