- Warhawk Family of Scholarships recipient
I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. I have accepted a position with Armanino LLP as a Tax Associate beginning in the Summer of 2023. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to attend this great university. Without the superb support, financially, academically, and the helpful counseling, I would not have been able to be in this position.I truly am grateful for the KU Military-Affiliated Student Center as well as the generous donors that provide scholarship opportunities that help fund my higher education.
I am a Civil Affairs Specialist in the United States Army Reserve (38B). I have had the unique opportunity of learning how to mitigate political issues while attending to the needs of a local populous. Furthermore, I have learned how to identify, assess, and mitigate civil vulnerabilities that may be present in a society. My military training has taught me how to take shortcomings in foreign civilian societal experiences and turn them into positive and progressive culture that leads to a better well-being, more positive outlook on society and a positive outlook on U.S aid. I am a proud graduate of The John F Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School and truly believe my military training has provided me with the training and skills to succeed academically and professionally.
I am a Jayhawk, I am an Army Soldier and I am grateful for the support I have received and continue to receive from KU and the surrounding community. Thank you!
